Rules
- The Committee will not be responsible for any accidents, acts of vandalism, or loss to any person, animals or property. All vehicles on Show field are at owners risk.
- Any objection to be handed in to the Secretary in writing, within half an hour of the event with a deposit of £10, which will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained.
- All stock to be property of the owner four months prior to the Show.
- Committee to determine the age of any animal.
- In the event of dispute of height of any horse or pony, the same will be measured and the Judge's decision will be final. (Life height certificates will be valid).
- All exhibits in Flower, Vegetables and Produce Section to be in the marquee by 10.30am on the day of the Show. No exhibits accepted after the time stated. The marquee will be open for staging 8.30am to 10.30am. Judging will commence at 10.30am. All exhibits to be left on display until 4.30pm. Prize money and exhibits to be collected between 4.30pm - 6pm. The Committee are not responsible for loss or damage to exhibits.
- All produce to have been grown in own garden, which must be open for inspection.
- All horses to be on the field for judging at 9am and no sheep or cattle to be penned after 11.00am
- Prize points calculated thus: 1st - 3, 2nd - 2, 3rd - 1.
- All prize winners to collect prize money and cups before leaving the show field, otherwise prize money will be returned to Show funds.
- The Committee have the power to appoint other judges in place of those who may not be able to act.
- The Committee reserve the right to refuse entry, withhold a prize or disqualify a competitor at any time or for any reason they deem sufficient.
- The Judges decision is final.
- Competitors who enter all competitions do so at their own risk, and the organisers of the Show cannot accept responsibility for any injury sustained by such competitors. Competitors must adhere to rules available from the steward.
- All entry fees to be paid on entry.
- Any person riding a horse, anywhere on the Showground, is required to wear a hard hat of BSEN 1384, VG01 and PAS015 standard and ensure that the chinstrap is fastened. No horses to be ridden outside permitted areas. All riders are advised to wear body protectors.
- The Committee reserve the right to alter or omit any part of the programme.
- All cups to be returned clean and in good condition.
- Local being: Capel-y-ffin, Llanthony, Cwmyoy, Fforest Coal Pit, Pandy, Longtown, Walterstone, Llanvihangel Crucorney, Pant-y-gelli and Llanbedr.
