Llanthony Show has a range of horse and pony classes for all ages. There are classes for working hunters, riding horses, as well as novelty and young handler.
Llanthony Show is no longer holding the Welsh Pony and Cob Classes.

- Any person riding a horse, anywhere on the Showground, is required to wear a hard hat of BSEN 1384, VG01 and PAS015 standard and ensure that the chinstrap is fastened. No horses to be ridden outside permitted area. All riders are advised to wear body protectors.
- All horses and ponies to be on the field by 9.00am. Judging to commence at 9.30am prompt.
- Entries for all classes can be pre-entered or made on the day to the Horse and Pony Secretary, before 9.00am
- Prize money and cups presented with rosettes.
- All rings judged simultaneously.
To avoid gridlock on the narrow valley road, the Llanthony Valley & District Committee politely request that lorries/trailers do not leave the Show field between 11am and 2pm. We thank you for your understanding.
