Garden Competition

In conjunction with Llanthony Valley & District Garden Club

Open to the area local to Llanthony Show: Capel-y-Ffin, Llanthony, Cwmyoy, Fforest Coalpit, Pandy, Longtown, Walterstone, Llanfihangel Crucorney, Pantygelli & Llanbedr
 
       Class

1. Most productive vegetable garden/plot     (Fred Probert Challenge Cup - Judges will be seeking variety and continuity of produce rather than quality and quantity)
2. Most interesting/beautiful container display
3. The most imaginative way of disguising an ugly garden necessity with plants (e.g. bin, concrete shed, breeze block wall etc)
4. Four photographs of your garden at different times of the year, weather or lighting condition

 
              Entries are free for all classes
              Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in all classes
             
               Supporting photographs of an entry in its best season may also be supplied

              All entries and Photographs, should be sent by email in jpeg format or high resolution mobile phone

               Closing date for entries is Friday 26th June 2026
               Judging will take place between 6th and 10th July 2026

                Results will be displayed on Show Day, Saturday 1st August 2026
