Welsh Pony and Cob Bronze Medal Show

Affiliated to Welsh Pony and Cob Society (WPCS)
These classes also qualify for points for the Brecon and Borders Association
Pre-Entries close 1st August 2022
Entry Fee: £7 pre-entry
Prize money: 1st - £10, 2nd - £8, 3rd - £5
Rosettes to 6th place, plus special rosette for highest placed gelding in each class
Bronze medals are awarded to the Champion or Reserve of each section, with a current WPCS membership card.  Medals will only be given out on presentation of current membership card.

A copy will also be available for viewing at the Horse and Pony Secretary's tent on the day of the show
On entering this show you agree to abide by the following regulations:
  1. Welsh Pony and Cob Society (WPCS) - The Show is held under the governing body of the WPCS and exhibitors agree to be bound by the Society's rules and regulations where applicable.
  2. Breed Registration - All entries must be registered with the WPCS and foals eligible for registration.  The registration details required on the entry forms must be given in full.  Those without will be returned.  Registration checks will be made with the WPCS.
  3. Owner/Lessee's membership card MUST be produced in the Show ring before a Bronze Medal can be awarded.  If the owner of the Champion is not able to produce their membership card, the Reserve Champion may receive the Medal down to Second Reserve (third).
  4. All stallions exhibited in stallion classes MUST be in possession of a Welsh Pony & Cob Society Licence of Correctness or equivalent.

37.  Best young handler, 10 years and under on 1st January 2022
38.  Best young handler over 10 years and under 16 years on 1st January 2022
Winners of classes 37 and 38 will be presented with their own trophies to keep
Winners of classes 37 and 38 will not go forward to the Welsh Championship

Overall Gelding Championship
Welsh Pony & Cob Gelding Incentive Scheme - Overall Gelding Champion and Reserve, to be competed for by the highest placed geldings from each appropriate class with Sections A, B, C and D, generously sponsored by Sarum Investments Ltd.  This will be judged before the Welsh Championship, the winner and reserve will then be asked to come forward to the overall Welsh Championship.

Welsh Championship
Prize: £25 
Champion and Reserve in each section to come forward for the Welsh Championship
(This will be judged on the completion of the Young Handler classes)

Supreme Champion of Show
Prize: £50 and £50 voucher kindly donated by Feedmark
To be judged at approximately 1.30pm
Prizes to be presented by the Show President
